Amaranta Family Practice is open as normal.
Dr.McMahon is available for appointments Monday to Thursday. Dr.Kevin May is available for appointment on Fridays.
If you are unsure which form of consult to opt for please phone our practice secretary and she will advise you. Please note that if a physical consult is deemed necessary following a online video or phone consult additional fees of (€40 to €65) may be due.

New patients please phone the practice for your registering appointment. NEW private patients will be asked for their credit/debit card details to hold the appointment. If the appointment is missed without notice, your card will be charged €35.
Blood tests are taken every morning Monday to Friday.
Cancellations:
Should you need to cancel an appointment you have made with us, please provide us with at least 18 hours’ notice. This will enable us to offer your appointment slot to one of our other patients.
Please be aware that should you miss your appointment or fail to cancel with at least 18 hours’ notice there will be a charge of Euro 30 for missed appointments.

If you are concerned that you might have contracted the Coronavirus, please DO NOT attend the practice. Please call the HSE helpline on 1850 24 1850 or call the practice for further advice if you cant get through to the HSE (please do not call the emergency department, 112/999 as their services are overwhelmed at present and are for emergencies only)
